Research report reveals that on average, organizations believe the volume of incoming information will grow four-fold in the next two-three years
June 23, 2022 Quality Associates, Inc. (QAI), a Konica Minolta company and leading provider of Intelligent Information Management (IIM) solutions, today announced the release of a special report to address fundamental business challenges of the digital era resulting from the wave of information management change.
As an underwriter of the body of research entitled, Optimizing the Automated Governance Capabilities of Microsoft 365® , QAI partnered with the national organization on Managing Electronic Records (MER) and industry thought-leader and analyst, John Mancini. The study surveyed 200 leading organizations to discover what is working—and what is not—governing collaborative content while leveraging the automated digital governance capabilities of M365. It examined everything from the rising tide of information chaos and the future direction of M365 governance to what comprises effective change management strategies while touching upon the critical nature of business and information alignment with M365 governance approaches.
Implications from the study revealed a set of 12 recommendations based on survey findings and input from actively engaged and committed information governance (IG) and information technology IT) professionals. Results indicated that high-performing M365 environments were fueled by flexibility, customization, frequent testing protocols, careful planning, commitment, selective use of consultants, operational process knowledge and proper decision-making representation.
“At QAI, we advance high-quality market studies to help improve the management of electronic information,” stated Scott Swidersky, vice president, IIM Practice, Konica Minolta Business Solutions, U.S.A., Inc., and president of its QAI division. “Our vision as experts in compliance and digital records management is to turn ideas into practical and usable digitization innovations while offering leading-edge and practical guidance to address the challenges presented from managing electronic records amid the context for Microsoft 365 automated governance and compliance.”
Today, information is the core asset creating business value and competitive differentiation. Without a sound digitization strategy, organizations will slowly sink under the accumulated weight of their exponentially growing digital landfills. How can they meet this growing challenge? How can they apply new governance capabilities within M365? Find out by simply downloading the complimentary industry report, Optimizing the Automated Governance Capabilities of Microsoft 365®
