So much NEWs at QAI these days...
7/7/05
QAI's Information Systems Department hosts over 100 clients and prospects at the 1st Annual QAI User Conference. This conference took place at the International Spy Museum in Washington, DC. The conference consisted of a full day of educational seminars surrounding document management solutions. The day also included continental breakfast, a tour of the museum, lunch and a closing reception. QAI received tons of positive feedback regarding the content of the event and the venue. Sponsoring partners included Fujitsu, Kofax, Adobe, Captaris and A2iA. QAI will continue to host this conference along with our partners on an annual basis for it's clients and prospects.

QAI's Quality Assurance Department exhibits at the 41st Drug Information Association (DIA) Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. DIA is a multidisciplinary professional association addressing the issues, challenges, regulations and trends in healthcare companies, academic institutions, and government agencies.

QAI sponsors annual National Capitol Chapter (NCC) of the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM) June Social at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria. The NCC is the largest chapter of AIIM, a global industry association that connects the users and suppliers of electronic content management technologies and services. Their current focus is to provide a forum for establishing an e-Business infrastructure to bridge traditional document, imaging and workflow technologies with the new Web and Internet-based technologies.

QAI Hosts Fifth Annual Trophy Striper Tournament. For the fifth year in a row, QAI hosted their Annual Trophy Striper Tournament for 55 clients and employees. QAI chartered five boats out of Deale, MD to accommodate this continuously growing event. Employees and clients meet on the docks at 5:00 a.m. and head out on the water by 5:30 a.m. This year's big winner was one of QAI's employees, Josey Oliver who caught a 45 inch, 31.5 pound striper.

QAI Honored for top Kofax Certified Solutions Provider (CSP). QAI was recently honored with the award for top Kofax Certified Solutions Provider (CSP) in the Americas at the Transform 05 Conference in Orlando, FL. QAI surpassed all other Kofax CSP's with over 9 million in Kofax sales in calendar year 2004. Tranform 05 is an annual event that enables Kofax Certified Solutions Providers (CSPs) to learn new technologies, discuss the latest trends, share best practices and network with other successful Kofax partners.

QAI NIH Team Hits Milestone. The QAI NIH Team recently filled their 5,000th order from NIH, which represents the creation and distribution of approximately 150,000 CD's. Congratulations to everyone at the Rockville and Columbia offices that are working on this very significant NIH project!

Kofax Certified Solution Providers Honored in CRN's Fast Growth 100. QAI is ranked #6 in CRN's Fast Growth 100 companies list. To qualify for the list, each company had to be an independently owned business since at least 2001 and have sales of at least $250,000. The list was based on a survey and call for nominations conducted by CRN during the fourth quarter. Rankings were based on revenue growth over the 12 months ended June 30, 2004.
